ON THE RECORD
"Game one was a really tough one. It was a close game, and we just didn't get enough hits early on in the game to get the job done. I am really proud of how we came out in game two and that was a great win for our guys and our organization being able to beat the No. 15 team on the road is never easy. I am really proud of how we came back out after the first game, and we were able to score and keep the lead.
Jake Bloss and
Carson Frye both had outstanding performances and that is what helped us get the win in game two with the help of
Jordan Yoder getting us that final out at the end.
Owen Carapellotti,
Michael Eze and
Keith Savoy Jr. came up big for us getting multiple hits and that is what we needed. I am proud of the way we fought and competed today and sometimes you don't win the series but you are able to take some momentum from it and we hope to carry that into Wednesday against Maryland." - Head Coach
Edwin Thompson on today's doubleheader
