Hoyas Fall to Maryland

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team fell to the Maryland Terrapins on Wednesday evening 16-3 at the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy. The Hoyas slide to 23-19 while the Terrapins improve to 27-15.

ON THE RECORD
"Great job by Maryland today, they did a great job overall in all three phases of the game. They took advantage of the free bases we gave them, and we just couldn't get things going. We had a couple home runs but unfortunately, they had more today so tip your cap to them, they are a really good team that is well coached. We will get back to work tomorrow and we are looking forward to this weekend as we host St. John's." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
