  • A total of nine Hoyas have previously won a BIG EAST outdoor title with five men and four women standing atop the podium.
  • Parker Stokes is one of four Hoyas to twice win the men's steeplechase and looks to become just the second-ever in league history to three-peat in the event.
  • Joshua Paigen was 2022's Men's Outstanding Track Performer and is the reigning 100- and 200-meter champion from a season ago. Paige also took the crown as part of the 2021 4x100-meter championship team along with teammate Andrew Robinson who will be competing in the 100- and 200-meter dash as well.
  • Abel Teffra, Matthew Payamps and Stokes were all champions in 2022 as part of the winning 4x800-meter relay squad with Teffra and Payamps running the second and third legs and Stokes anchoring the quartet.
  • On the women's side, a trio of Hoyas are looking to defend their titles from a season ago. Melissa Riggins is the reigning champion in the women's 800-meter run while Maggie Donahue led a Hoya contingent through the finish line in the 5,000-meter run.
  • Eni Akinniyi's title in the triple jump in 2022 made her just the third Hoya in program history to be crowned the winner.
