WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's soccer program was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches by receiving the 2022-23 College Team Academic Award. The award recognizes teams that post an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

The squad was one of 801 soccer teams that were recognized by United Soccer Coaches as well as one of 307 on the men's side. Additionally, Georgetown was just one of 179 schools that had both its men's and women's programs recipients of the award.

The men's team is marking its 17th recognition by the organization and the Hoyas' ninth year in a row receiving the award.
