NEWPORT, R.I. - Georgetown women's tennis wrapped up competition at the Hall of Fame Open, their first event of the fall season. Georgetown's duo of McHaley Ho and Chloe Bendetti placed fourth in the doubles only competition after winning their first three matches.
The Hoyas were joined by athletes from six other schools, which included George Washington, Brown, Dartmouth, Rutgers, Providence and University of Rhode Island.
All four of Georgetown's duos, Ho / Bendetti, Avantika Willy / Morgan Coburn, Paige Gilbert / Ashley Kennedy and Olivia Ashton / Katie Garofolo-Ro all won three out of their five matches over the weekend. For Garofolo-Ro, this was her first action of her collegiate career.
