WASHINGTON — Georgetown University's women's volleyball team defeated Virginia Commonwealth University in three sets (25-19, 25-22, 25-18) to wrap up the VCU Invitational. The win brings the Hoyas to a 2-1 record at the tournament and a 5-1 record on the season. VCU finishes 2-1 in the tournament and move to 3-2 overall.
"Extremely proud of the team's ability to bounce back from yesterday's match," said Head Coach AJ Bonetti. "We had everyone contributing today and it was a fun match to be a part of."
