WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's golf team is set to open the 2023-24 season this weekend at the Doc Gimmler Intercollegiate in Farmingdale, New York. This year's event will be played at Bethpage Golf Course The par-70, 7,092-yard course will host the two-day, three-round tournament and will feature 15 schools. Hoya Lineup
- The Hoyas will travel six student-athletes this weekend.
- Georgetown finished fourth at the BIG EAST Championships last season and returners Max Hutter and Jacob Finard featured in the event for the Blue & Gray.
- Finard will be in the one spot for the Hoyas this weekend and Hutter will be in the two spot.
- Conner Willett returns to the lineup for the Hoyas in the three spot after suffering an injury at the end of last season.
- Freshman Barnes Blake will make his collegiate debut for the Blue & Gray this weekend.
- Sophomore Carsten Judge will be in the five spot for GU this weekend. Last season Judge set a program record for lowest score by a freshman after shooting a 65 in the first round of the VCU Shootout.
- Senior Ryan Moylan will compete as an individual this weekend.

About the Tournament
- The event will have 14 other institutions competing and the field includes Columbia, Fairfield, FDU, Harvard, Hofstra, Iona, Lafayette, Lehigh, LIU, Loyola Maryland, Niagara, Rider, St. John's and Towson.
- Teams will tee off Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. and will play two full rounds followed by another round Sunday.

The Blue & Gray will be back in action on Saturday, September 23 at the MacDonald Cup in New Haven, Connecticut. The event will be hosted by Yale University and will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 23-24.
