WASHINGTON – Georgetown University women's basketball senior
Kelsey Ransom was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after the Hoyas went 2-0 to finish out 2023. This is the fourth time this season that Ransom has earned a nod and the fifth for the Blue & Gray this year.

- Ransom led the way for the Hoyas with 23 points, including a 4-5 performance from beyond the arc, to go along with eight assists and seven rebounds as well as five steals in a 66-62 victory at DePaul on Sunday.
- A few days prior, she had seven points and six rebounds, including the game-winning free throws, in a 57-55 victory at Kennesaw State to close out nonconference play.
- The senior leads the team in almost all categories and is also among the league leaders.
- Ransom is ninth in the league in scoring (15.5 ppg), 12th in rebounding (6.5 rpg), sixth in assists (3.7 apg) and leads the league with an impressive 2.8 steals per game.
- This is her fourth nod to the honor roll this season and the eighth of her career.
