WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team (8-9) fought hard but fell to DePaul in a tightly contested match on Friday night at McDonough Arena. The match went to five sets, with DePaul edging the Hoyas 3-2 (25-23, 23-25, 28-26, 22-25, 15-11). Despite Georgetown's resilience, DePaul managed to secure key points in the decisive fifth set to claim the victory.

Hoya Highlights

• Mary Grace Goyena led the Hoyas in kills with 16, followed by Kamryn Lee-Caracci with 14 and Giselle Williams with 12.
• Freshman Berkeley Ploder made a strong offensive impact, contributing nine kills.
• Vaughan Anoa'i and Berkeley Ploder shared the lead in blocks, each with seven, while Kamryn Lee-Caracci added six.
• Karis Park dominated defensively with a team-high 16 digs and also led in service aces with three.
• Dionna Mitchell and Vaughan Anoa'i each chipped in two service aces.
