WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's and women's swimming & diving teams earned its third straight victory over Howard at the Battle of the Burr at Burr Gym Pool on Saturday afternoon.

Jack Leavitt. "Howard is such a great team and is so well coached. We had to fight hard to win today. We look forward to this meet every year and this one didn't disappoint. We can't wait to go back next year."
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The Hoyas finshed in second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:31.52.
- Wilson Tunila (9:49.78), Ronan Krauss (10:01.29) and Bruno Ribeiro (10:25.22) swept the podium in the 1000 free.
- In the 1m dive, the Hoyas swept the podium. Nico Santiago finished first (294.38), Hriday Parekh came in second (289.28) and Thomas Carpinelli came in third (279.38).
- Owen Watkins earned first in the 50 free with a time of 21.10.
- Stephen Kim placed first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:56.28 and the 100 breaststroke with a time of 57.22.
- In the 500 free, Jack Januario and Ben Tunila took first and second with times of 4:42.70 and 4:53.78, respectively.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- GU captured first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:43.35.
- In the 1000 free, Ashley Vensel (10:53.01) and Payton Smith (10:56.76) finished in first and second.
- Natalie Aiken captured first in the 50 free with a time of 24.54.
- In the 1m dive, the Hoyas swept the podium. Cecilia Hanuch took first (249), Wynter Bramao placed second (240.20) and Audrey Dietz placed third (233.75).
- In the 100 butterfly, Geneive Youngman finished first (56.4) while Angelica RealI took second (57.15) and Cali Oyerly finished third (58.26).
- In the 500 free, Kaitlin Lee and Sammy Hagberg took first and second with times of 5:13.06 and 5:21.06, respectively.
- The Hoyas closed out the meet with a victory in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:37.18.
