WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's soccer team will make the short trip to UMBC to take on the Retrievers on Tuesday evening at Retriever Soccer Park in Baltimore, Maryland. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.

About the Hoyas

• Georgetown (5-3-3) is coming off of a big 3-0 BIG EAST Conference victory over No. 21 Providence on Friday afternoon.
• All three goals came in the second half as Marlon Tabora, Zach Zengue and Matthew Van Horn all found the back of the net. Zengue added an assist as well.
• For their efforts, Zengue was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, and Maximus Jennings earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for his role in the shutout.
• Freshman Mitchell Baker is leading the Hoya offense with four goals and two assists for 10 points on the season.
• Van Horn and Zengue are tied for second, tallying three goals and one assist for seven points on the year apiece.
• Eric Howard has a squad-best three assists for the Blue & Gray.
• Tenzing Manske has seen a majority of the minutes in the net for the Hoyas. He holds a 0.67 goals-against average and a .793 save percentage to go along with 23 saves, a 4-3-2 record and five shutouts for the year.
• Tuesday will be GU's final nonconference contest of the season.

 
About the Retrievers

• UMBC is 4-4-3 on the season and coming off of a 1-1 tie with Umass-Lowell on Saturday.
• The Retrievers are led by Ryan Calheira who has four goals for eight points on the season. He is followed by Hans Nesheim who has seven points on a squad-high seven assists for the year.
• A whopping 17 players have scored a point for UMBC this season with 13 registering at least one goal.
• UMBC was selected to finish fourth in the 2024 America East Preseason Coaches Poll.
• Jago Lott and Lasse Kelp were named to the Preseason All-Conference Team.
