WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's basketball graduate student Kelsey Ransom was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after the Hoyas went 1-1 in nonconference play this past week to begin the 2024-25 season. This is the first set of awards from the league this year.

• Ransom averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game as the Blue & Gray went 1-1.
• She had 16 points, eight rebounds and two assists in the home opening victory over VU Lynchburg on Wednesday evening at McDonough Arena.
• On Sunday at Wisconsin, Ransom led in every category with 27 points, seven boards, three steals and two assists.
• Ransom is third in the league in scoring (21.5 ppg) and ninth in rebounding (7.5 rpg).
• This is her first nod to the honor roll this season and the 10th of her career.
