To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District consideration, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's contests played or must start in at least 66 percent of the games. Teams are limited to six nominees.

- Howard has started all 20 games for the Blue & Gray this season.
- He has a goal and three assists for five points on the season, the goal was the game winner in the BIG EAST Championship Game.
- For his efforts, Howard was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team and the BIG EAST Championship's Most Outstanding Defensive Player.
- He is part of a backline that has recorded 11 shutouts this season to lead the nation.
- Howard is a business major.
