WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's men's rowing team finished off the Fall 2024 season this past weekend at the Princeton Chase in Princeton, New Jersey. The Hoyas sent six total boats out on the water to compete in the Men's 8+ and the Men's Lightweight 8+. The weekend was highlighted by Heavyweight Eight Boat A's fifth-place finish.
Lightweight Head Coach Ethan Shoemaker:
"We are appreciative of Princeton Rowing and their supporters for putting on yet another excellent Princeton Chase Regatta this weekend. We are proud of the performance of all of our crews today. Our 2nd crew, in particular, made a big statement with their results that has further energized our team top to bottom. After today, we know what we need to work on, but we are also excited by the potential that was displayed today on the race course. We are looking forward to the winter conditioning ahead of us."
