WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's basketball graduate student Kelsey Ransom was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after the Hoyas went 2-0 in nonconference play this past week.

• Ransom averaged 17.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in a two-game week for Georgetown.
• She scored seven points and had eight assists as well as five rebounds and three steals in the 69-61 win over Boston University on Wednesday.
• She then recorded an impressive 28 points to go along with six assists, five rebounds and three steals in GU's close 69-63 win at Howard on Sunday.
• Ransom is eighth in the league in scoring (17.5 ppg) and third in steals (3.0 spg) as well as leading the league in assists with 7.0 per game. 
• This is her third nod to the honor roll this season and the 12th of her career.
