ON THE RECORD
"Today was one of those days where it didn't fall our way and we had some hard-hit balls again, but I am really proud of our effort. The most important thing for us today was to be ourselves as yesterday we didn't play as well as we are capable of. Today we had three good phases, Everett Catlett pitched well, and Andrew Williams did a good job for us. Defensively we made some really good plays and offensively Joe Hollerbach and Josh Rolling gave us a chance with their first home runs of the season, and it got us going a little bit. Unfortunately, we were one run short, but we grew a lot today and learned a lot today we just didn't get it done when we needed to. We will get back to work on Tuesday and will be ready to go on Wednesday at Navy." – Head Coach Edwin Thompson
