ON THE RECORD
"What a great day for us, I am really proud of our guys and their effort today. I thought Everett Catlett gave us a great start and Nick Davis came out of the bullpen and gave us what we needed. For us to play the way we did and find a way to win not only today but this weekend was great. We were able to find those insurance runs in the eighth that helped us seal the deal there at the end. Owen Carapellotti swung the bat like we know he can, which was great to see. To win seven in a row after having only won six games total in 2021 just goes to show where our program is today. Being in this place going into next week is good for us but we have plenty of work to do and have to keep finding ways to get better but I am really proud of the week that we had." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
