WASHINGTON – Following a two-week respite, the Georgetown University men's lacrosse team returned to action in full swing, defeating visiting Dartmouth 21-9 on Tuesday afternoon at Cooper Field. With the win the 10th-ranked Hoyas improve to 5-2 on the season while the Big Green fall to 3-4 overall.

How It Happened
- The Hoyas opened the game on a tear, scoring five goals on their first six shots to take a commanding 5-0 lead. Dartmouth cut the run with a lone goal at the 3:12 mark, but Georgetown responded almost immediately with Bundy's first goal of the game 45 seconds later to make it 6-1 after the first.
- In the second, the Big Green struck first before GU closed out the half on a 4-1 run. Each of Georgetown's first nine goals were scored by different players until Carroll netted his second with one second remaining to push the Hoya lead to 10-3 at the break.
- Coming out of the locker room, both sides traded goals throughout the third quarter before Wray bullied his way through traffic and fired a rocket home to make it 14-6 in favor of the Hoyas at the end of the frame.
- Following an early goal in the fourth from Dartmouth to make it 14-7, the Hoyas scored three-straight goals as part of a 6-0 run that led to Georgetown emptying its bench up 17-7. The Blue & Gray's reserves took full advantage of their opportunity, outscoring Dartmouth 4-2 to close out the game.
Dartmouth Notes
- Henry Bonnie and Tommy Rogan led the Big Green with two goals and an assist each.
- Mitchell Myers won 10 of 22 faceoffs and collected six ground balls.
- Mason Morel collected 12 saves between the pipes in the loss while allowing 17 goals.
Hoya Notes
- Haley moved into a tie for 11th all-time in career scoring at Georgetown, tying Jim Nagle ('84) with 145 points.
- Horning and Schubert's goals were the first of their collegiate careers.
- Carroll's seven points and four assists were both career highs. He has had at least a hat trick in five of Georgetown's seven games this season.
