Hoyas Drop Midweek Contest to UMBC

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team dropped Tuesday's contest to UMBC 10-6 in Baltimore Maryland. With the loss, the Hoyas slide to 26-10 while UMBC improves to 15-15.

ON THE RECORD
"Great job by UMBC tonight, they came out and executed and did a great job of keeping us off balance offensively. We couldn't get a big hit when we needed it and we gave them too many free bases and they did a great job of capitalizing on those. It was good to see Ashtin Gilio, Marco Castillo and Joe Hollerbach all have three hits today. We will regroup and get ready for another conference series against UConn at Capital One Park this weekend." – Head Coach Edwin Thompson
