ON THE RECORD
"I am proud of the way we came out in the first couple of innings with Christian Ficca and Owen Carapellotti getting big home runs for us. Putting up runs in the first five frames of any game is always great to do and having that big fourth inning with five runs really gave us some insurance going into the back half of the game.We played some really good baseball, Joe Hollerbach had two hits, Michael Eze had three hits and 12 as a team was great to see. Cody Bowker gave us another fantastic start and Kai Leckszas was awesome the last three innings. Overall really proud of our group and we will come back out here tomorrow ready to finish game two and with the chance to win a series. " Head Coach Edwin Thompson
