Georgetown Drops Midweek Contest to George Mason

TYSONS, Va. – The Georgetown University baseball team dropped Wednesday's contest 13-2 to George Mason. With the loss, the Hoyas slide to 29-15 while George Mason improves to 19-23 on the season.

ON THE RECORD
"What a great job by George Mason today, they beat us in every aspect of the game. Tip your cap to them, they played better, their pitchers did an outstanding job limiting us to five hits. We didn't play to the level that we are capable of playing at and we got beat because of that. We need to play better defense, need to pitch better and need to hit better. At the end of the day, they played great and are a well-coached team. We need to reset and get ready to play another good opponent in Penn State on Friday."– Head Coach Edwin Thompson
