WASHINGTON - Freshman forward Mitchell Baker was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday when the BIG EAST Conference announced its first weekly awards of the 2024 season. Georgetown went 1-1 over the weekend to begin the 2024 campaign.

BIG EAST Honor Roll

• Baker scored two goals in Georgetown's 2-0 victory over the University of Maryland on Sunday evening in College Park, Maryland.
• He started in both games for the No. 16/11 Hoyas who went 1-1.
• The goals were the first two of his intercollegiate career and the first two of the season for the Blue & Gray.
• The tally in the third minute also proved to be the game winner.
• This is Georgetown's first nod to the honor roll this season and the first of Baker's career.
