About the Hoyas
- Georgetown (2-2-2) fell 1-0 to the James Madison University Dukes in a nonconference matchup in Harrisonburg, Virginia at Sentara Park on Monday evening.
- A huge save from Georgetown goalkeeper Tenzing Manske kept it scoreless midway through.
- GU would have chances including a free kick in the final minute, but could not find the equalizer falling 1-0 at the final whistle.
- Last week, GU posted its second draw as the squad played Cornell to a 2-2 decision.
- Georgetown went into the break up 1-0, but Cornell would not back down and scored a goal from the left side off of a corner less than two minutes into the second half.
- Neither team would find the go-ahead score as the contest ended in a 2-2 draw.
- On Monday, junior midfielder Zach Zengue was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
- Zengue scored both of GU's goals in a 2-2 draw against Cornell on Friday afternoon at Shaw Field.
- The Hoyas are currently ranked No. 25 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
About the Sharks
