WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team (7-6) was defeated in straight sets by Villanova on Friday evening at the Jake Nevin Field House in Pennsylvania. The Hoyas posted a .226 hitting percentage and tallied 34 total kills.

Hoya Highlights
 

• Dionna Mitchell led the team with 11 kills and a .450 hitting percentage, also recording a team-high 11 digs.
• Kamryn Lee-Caracci contributed seven kills with a .235 hitting percentage and added two digs.
• Berkeley Ploder anchored the defense with three blocks.
• Emily Wen registered 17 assists, while Juleigh Urbina added 12 assists.
