WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team (7-7) was swept by St. John's in straight sets, falling 3-0 (25-9, 25-20, 25-23) during Sunday afternoon's match at McDonough Arena. Despite a strong effort in the final two sets, the Hoyas were unable to overcome the Red Storm squad.

Hoya Highlights

• Dionna Mitchell and Giselle Williams powered the offense, each recording a team-high eight kills.
• Kamryn Lee-Caracci and Berkeley Ploder contributed solidly with four kills apiece.
• Karis Park led all players defensively with a match-best 10 digs.
• Lee-Caracci further anchored the defense, tallying six blocks.
• Emily Wen orchestrated the attack with 15 assists, while Juleigh Urbina added 11 more to keep the offense flowing.
