No. 14 Georgetown Travels to James Madison for Monday Evening Showdown

WASHINGTON - The No. 14 Georgetown University men's soccer team will make the trip to Harrisonburg, Virginia to face the James Madison University Dukes on Monday evening. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. at Sentara Park.

About the Hoyas
  • Georgetown (2-1-2) posted its second draw in as many games on Friday as the squad played Cornell to a 2-2 decision.
  • Junior Zach Zengue scored both goals for the Blue & Gray, but Cornell was able to match, resulting in the 2-2 decision.
  • Earlier in the week, GU played to a scoreless draw against Florida International.
  • The squad had a number of chances, but could not find the back of the net despite outshooting the Panthers 23-11.
  • On Tuesday, senior defender Maximus Jennings was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week.
  • Jennings led the Hoyas to a pair of shutouts as UNCG was limited to just four shots in total and zero on target and FIU managed just two shots on goal.

  • James Madison is 0-0-3 on the season with ties against Cal State Northridge (0-0), then-No. 21 UCLA (0-0) and, most recently, NC State (2-2).
