WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's 14th-ranked squash team fell 6-3 to visiting No. 10 Drexel on Saturday afternoon at Squash On Fire in the District. With the loss, the Hoyas fall to 3-6 on the season while the Dragons improve to 6-4 overall.
Sanah Syed and
Rachel Mashek won in the top two flights of the ladder while
Aaru Kuthari earned the third victory in the sixth spot.
Syed swept her opponent 3-0 while Mashek won 3-1 and Kuthari posted a come-from-behind victory to win in five games.
Lindsay Lee was narrowly edged in five games at the fifth position while
Cici Curran and
Sydney Bramen both fell by 3-1 scores.

The Hoyas return to action to compete in the College Squash Association Individual Championships the weekend of January 25-28.
