WASHINGTON – A trio of Georgetown University squash players were named to the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference All-Conference teams, as announced by the league office on Thursday. Sophomore
Cici Curran earned a first team nod while junior
Ella Schoonmaker and sophomore
Sanah Syed picked up second team honors.
Curran earns First Team All-MASC honors after being named to the second team as a freshman last season. She went 8-9 overall on the season and represented GU at the CSA Individual Championships in January.
Schoonmaker picked up her first career All-MASC honor as a junior captain for the Blue & Gray. She went 6-9 overall for the Hoyas in her third season on the Hilltop.
Syed added a second-straight Second Team All-MASC recognition as a sophomore. She posted a 6-7 record for Georgetown.
Georgetown went 8-9 in its fifth season as a varsity program, earning a third-place finish at the CSA Divisional Championship Kurtz Cup as well as posting a fourth-place finish at the MASC Championships.
