WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's basketball junior Victoria Rivera was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after the Hoyas went 1-1 in BIG EAST play this past week.

• Rivera appeared in one game for the Hoyas this week. She was forced to sit out the Butler loss due to an injury suffered during the UConn game. However, she came back to lead the Hoyas in a win over Providence.
• In a 60-48 victory at Providence, Rivera went an impressive 5-7 from beyond the arc and led the Blue & Gray with 19 points.
• She also had two rebounds and as many assists.
• Rivera is second on the team in scoring averaging 12.9 ppg. She also leads the league and ranks 20th in the nation with 49 3-pointers on the season. Rivera sits at second in the league in 3-point percentage hitting 41.9 percent.
• This is her second-career nod to the honor roll and the seventh for the Hoyas this season.
