WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's basketball senior Ariel Jenkins was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after the Hoyas went 1-1 in nonconference play this past week.

• Jenkins averaged 14.5 points and an impressive 15.0 rebounds in a two-game week for Georgetown. She also managed 3.0 steals per game to go along with 2.0 blocks.
• She posted her fourth double-double of the season and her career leading the Hoyas with a career-best 22 points and 14 rebounds in a 64-41 win over Xavier on Monday. She also managed three steals and went 7-8 from the line in the victory.
• On Saturday, Jenkins followed that up with a career-high 16 rebounds as well as seven points, four blocks and three steals in a tough overtime loss at Seton Hall.
• Jenkins is third on the team in scoring averaging 12.7 ppg with a quartet of double-doubles on the season. She also leads the league and ranks 15th in the nation on the glass with 10.4 rpg, and sits at fifth in the BIG EAST in blocks averaging 1.4 per game.
• This is her first-career nod to the honor roll and the fifth for the Hoyas this season.
