WASHINGTON - Georgetown University men's soccer senior midfielder
Zach Zengue was named to the 2025 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List on Friday. He was one of 31 Division I men's players selected.

- Zengue is leading the squad in scoring with 10 goals and four assists for 24 points on the season. He is fifth in the nation in total goals, and is fifth in the country in points.
- Already this season, he has been named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on two occasions as well as once to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
- The midfielder also earned a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week and was a Preseason All-BIG EAST selection.
- Zengue was a First Team All-BIG EAST honoree last year as well as a United Soccer Coaches First Team All-East Region selection.
- As a sophomore, he was selected by the Columbus Crew in the second round with the 29th pick and 58th overall in the MLS Draft.
- Earlier this season, he was named to the MAC Hermann Preseason Watch List.
About the MAC Hermann Trophy
- The BIG EAST managed three honorees including Zengue.
- The Hermann Trophy is presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club and is the nation's highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by voting of Division I head coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches.
- The 2025 watch list was compiled by members of the Division I Men's All-America Council from a list of returning 2024 All-Americans and First Team All-Region players. A total of 15 players will be named 2025 Hermann Trophy semifinalists on December 9 at the conclusion of NCAA Division I All-American voting. From that list, head coaches will cast votes, and three players will be named finalists. The 2025 recipient will be announced January 9, 2026, in a ceremony at the historic Missouri Athletic Club in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.
