WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team is set to travel to UConn and Providence this week. The Hoyas will square off against the Huskies on Friday, October 17, before meeting the Friars on Saturday, October 18. The UConn match is slated for a 3:30 p.m. first serve and the Hoyas will take on Providence at 4 p.m.

- Georgetown enters the third year under Head Coach AJ Bonetti.
- The Hoyas are averaging 12.2 kills per set with a .226 hitting percentage, while adding 12.6 digs and 2.0 blocks per set on defense.
- Dionna Mitchell, Samantha Soderlund and Kamryn Lee-Caracci lead the offense. Mitchell has been pacing the attack with 235 kills, a .218 hitting percentage, and 3.09 kills per set. Soderlund and Lee-Caracci are close behind, with 177 and 129 kills, respectively. Soderlund is boasting 2.77 kills per set and Lee-Caracci is averaging a .336 hitting percentage.
- Juleigh Urbina leads the squad with 34 service aces on the season. Mitchell has notched 27 aces and Lee-Caracci has 26.
- At the net, Berkeley Ploder leads the defense with 54 total blocks, followed by Lee-Caracci and Katherine McGregor with 52 and 41, respectively.
- Graduate transfer Jade Smith has made a strong debut, posting 160 digs and averaging 2.26 per set in her first season with the Blue & Gray.
- Urbina paces the squad with 466 assists at setter, posting 6.13 per set.
- The Hoyas welcomed five newcomers to the roster in 2025: Jessica Lee, Katherine McGregor, Sydney Mercado, Fiona Turnbull, and Samantha Soderlund.
