WASHINGTON - Senior Diego Letayf was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week and sophomore Mitchell Baker earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after a 1-0 BIG EAST Conference week for the Hoyas. Additionally, sophomore Charlie DeMarco was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week

• Letayf played 75 minutes in Georgetown's 3-0 victory at DePaul on Saturday afternoon in league action.
• The three-year captain was instrumental in Georgetown's seventh shutout of the season.
• This is Letayf's first-career weekly honor and the sixth weekly award for the Hoyas this season.

• Baker managed a goal and an assist for three points in the 3-0 victory on Saturday.
• The sophomore is currently second on the squad in scoring with six goals and one assist for 13 points on the season.
• This is his first weekly award after earning two career nods to the honor roll, and it marks the seventh award for Georgetown this year.
