WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team swept the DePaul Blue Demons, 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-23), on Saturday evening at McDonough Arena in Washington, D.C. in front of the home crowd for Pink Out and Alumni Night. With the win, GU improves to 13-10 and 6-4 in BIG EAST play on the season while the Blue Demons slide to 12-9 and 5-5 in league play.

Hoya Highlights

• Katherine McGregor paced the Hoya attack with a team-high 10 kills, followed by Grace Albaugh and Samantha Soderlund with nine and eight, respectively.
• Four Hoyas contributed from the service line, as Albaugh, Soderlund and Juleigh Urbina each tallied two aces, while Taylor Mercado added one.
• Defensively, Kamryn Lee-Caracci and Berkeley Ploder anchored the front line with three blocks apiece.
• Urbina directed the offense with 30 assists.
• Jade Smith steadied the back row, collecting a team-best 15 digs.
