WASHINGTON - Three members of the Georgetown University men's soccer team were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District, as announced by the organization this week. Senior Tenzing Manske, junior Eric Howard and sophomore Mitchell Baker each earned the accolade.
 
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District consideration, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's contests played or must start in at least 66 percent of the games.

• Howard has started 18 games for the Blue & Gray this season.
• He has two assists on the season.
• The defender was a First Team All-BIG EAST honoree.
• For his efforts in the conference tournament, Howard was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team.
• He is part of a backline that has recorded 11 shutouts this season.
• Howard is a business major and was selected to move on to the national ballot.

Tenzing Manske

• Manske has started in 19 games this season and has a 0.770 goals-against average on the year.
• He has accounted for 47 saves with a 12-3-4 overall record as well as 10 total shutouts, including seven solo clean sheets
• Manske was named Third Team All-BIG EAST after an outstanding senior campaign.
• Manske is a government major.

Mitchell Baker
Sophomore
Forward
Melbourne, Australia / Northwood School

• Baker has started all 19 contests he has appeared in this season.
• He is second on the team in scoring with 29 points on a team-leading 13 goals and three assists.
• His 13 goals rank him ninth in the nation, and his five game winners place him sixth in the country.
• Baker is a First Team All-BIG EAST honoree as well as a BIG EAST All-Tournament Team selection.
• He was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 20, and earned three nods to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this season.
• Baker is in the business school.
