WASHINGTON - The No. 11/13 Georgetown University men's soccer team will travel to Providence, Rhode Island on Friday to close out regular season play in a BIG EAST Conference matchup with the Providence College Friars at Chapey Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., and the matchup will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

About the Hoyas
- Georgetown (10-3-3, 6-0-1) is coming off of a 3-0 victory against Xavier last Saturday to win the program's 10th BIG EAST Regular Season Championship. GU won the East Division for the third time in four years.
- The Hoyas scored two goals in the first half, and added an insurance goal in the second for the squad's sixth BIG EAST win of the season.
- For his effort against Xavier, sophomore Tate Lampman was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week.
- In his second game back from returning from an injury in the beginning of September, Lampman once again anchored a Georgetown defense that collected its second-consecutive shutout and eighth overall.
- Mitchell Baker was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday marking his third week in a row earning recognition.
- Baker managed a goal in Georgetown's 3-0 victory over Xavier on Saturday to clinch the East Division title.
- Senior Zach Zengue is leading the squad in scoring with 12 goals and eight assists for 32 points on the season. He is sixth in the nation in total goals, and is fourth in the country in points.
- Baker is second in goals with eight on the season to go along with two assists for 18 points, while junior Matthew Van Horn leads the squad in assists with six.Â
- Senior Tenzing Manske has played 1,305 minutes in the goal and has a 0.76 goals-against average as well as eight total shutouts and 30 saves.

- Providence is currently 6-6-2 overall and 4-2-1 in BIG EAST Conference play.
- The Friars are in a three-way tie for second place in the East Division, as Friday's contest will decide if they move on to the BIG EAST Championship.
- PC is coming off of a 3-2 victory over DePaul on Saturday afternoon in Chicago.
- Providence is led by Sam Montalto who has five goals and three assists for 13 points on the season.
