WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team kicks off the 2025-26 season with a neutral site tilt against Denison on Saturday in Annapolis, Maryland. The Hoyas enter the season ranked No. 14 in the College Squash Association preseason poll while the Big Red rank 21st.

Hoya Notes

• Georgetown went 8-10 overall last season and won the Kurtz Cup at the CSA Divisional Championships for the second-straight season.
• The Hoyas return 12 letterwinners this season to go along with a trio of talented newcomers.
• Captains Sydney Bramen, Katie Hennessy and Ella Schoonmaker lead the Hoyas into action with fellow returners Valentina Cuccolo, Cici Curran, Mary Kacergis, Aaru Kuthari, Megan LaForge, Lindsay Lee, Isha Rao, Sanah Syed and Lucia Varma.
• Making their debuts for Georgetown this season are Ella Erikson, Audrey Gelinas and Virginia Wood.

Scouting Denison

• Saturday's match is set for 1 p.m. at the Prager Family Squash Facility on Navy's campus.
• The Big Red opened their 2025-26 season with a 9-0 loss to No. 6 Virginia on November 1.
• Denison returns four All-Liberty League performers from a year ago, including reigning Liberty League Player of the Year Charlotte Jones. Other notable returners include Amelia Keng, Lane Harding, Tess Lanza and Maddie Ruggie.
• Georgetown and Denison have played three times before with the Hoyas owning a 3-0 all-time record against the Big Red.

Following the weekend's opener, the Hoyas return to Annapolis to face Bowdoin on Saturday, November 22.
