WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's 14th-ranked squash team opened the 2025-26 season with an 8-1 victory over No. 21 Denison in Annapolis, Maryland on Saturday afternoon. The win is the first for the Hoyas to kick off a campaign since 2022-23 while the Big Red fall to 0-2 on the season.
Georgetown swept flights 2-9 in the ladder with eight 3-0 victories.

Erickson and Gelinas made their collegiate debuts while Kacergis saw her first action since 2023-24 after missing last season.
Valentina Cuccolo also blanked her opponent 3-0 playing in an exhibition.

The Hoyas return to Annapolis to face No. 18 Bowdoin on Saturday, November 22.
