WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team closes out the fall portion of its schedule with a pair of matches this weekend, including the home opener. The 14th-ranked Hoyas travel to Philadelphia to take on second-ranked Penn on Friday before returning home to host No. 22 St. Lawrence at Squash On Fire in the District on Saturday.

Scouting Penn
- Friday's match is set for 6 p.m. at the Penn Squash Center in the City of Brotherly Love.
- The Quakers are 6-0 on the year and are coming off of victories over Stanford and Virginia.
- Alexandra Stoddard is 6-0 for Penn while Franka Vidovic and Savannah Ingledew are both 5-0.
- Georgetown and Penn have played twice before with the Quakers owning a 2-0 series advantage.
Scouting St. Lawrence
- Saturday's match is set for a noon start at Squash On Fire for Georgetown's home opener.
- The Saints are 4-0 to start the season with wins over Chatham, Connecticut College, Vassar and Haverford.
- Five SLU players are 4-0 on the year.
- Georgetown and St. Lawrence have played three times before with the Hoyas owning a 2-1 all-time record against the Saints.

Following the weekend's competition, the Hoyas return to action after the New Year with a New England road swing in January.
