Hoyas Fall at George Washington 8-7

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team fell to the George Washington Revolutionaries at Tucker Field in Arlington, Virginia, 8-7 on Tuesday afternoon. With the loss, GU slides to 3-5 on the season while GW improves to 3-4.

ON THE RECORD
"It was great to see Johan Franco give us a great start. Marshall Whitmer and Kai Leckszas were great out of the bullpen for us and gave us a chance in the middle portion of the game. We scored all seven of our runs in that four-inning span and unfortunately didn't score enough today. Credit to George Washington, they were great today. We battled hard today but will regroup and get ready to head to Florida State this weekend." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
