Box Score TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Georgetown University baseball team fell 7-2 to the No. 7/5 Florida State Seminoles on Friday evening. With the loss, the Hoyas slide to 3-6 on the season while FSU improves to 9-0.
ON THE RECORD
"What a ballgame, Friday night baseball in this environment was great and I am proud of our guys' fight today. I thought that was the biggest thing for me today, coming out and competing start to finish.
JT Raab was unbelievable and showed everyone why he is our Friday night guy, and he gave us a great chance. I am really proud of him, and he went longer than their guy who is really good too. They have a good team and a good bullpen, but I thought our guys did a good job of battling all night. Unfortunately, we had too many strikeouts, but they had a lot to do with that. We had moments in the seventh inning with the bases loaded and one out, we just couldn't get the run in. We will regroup and come back out tomorrow and compete against a top five team." - Head Coach
