WASHINGTON - Georgetown's
Kelsey Ransom was named to the Women's College All-Star Game Watch List presented by Herbalife on Tuesday. The list is selected by national media and identifies student-athletes to potentially compete in the national showcase event on April 5 in Tampa. The 2025 Women's College All-Star Game will feature the top senior standouts from this season. Of the more than 60 players that appear on the watch list, 20 will ultimately be selected to participate in the event, which will be televised by ESPN2.

Ransom is currently one of the top players in the nation as she leads the league in scoring (19.8 ppg) and sits at third in steals (2.19 spg). Last game, the graduate student hit a career milestone on Wednesday as she became the first player in program history to score 1,000 points, pull down 500 rebounds and manage 500 assists.

In her career, she has been recognized as the 2023-24 BIG EAST Co-Defensive Player of the Year, named 2023-24 First Team All-BIG EAST and to the 2023-24 BIG EAST All-Tournament Team. The season prior, she was also named Honorable Mention All-BIG EAST.
The team captain has earned BIG EAST Player of the Week, BIG EAST Freshman of the Week and 15 BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll nods in her career.

The Women's College All-Star Game will provide the country's brightest college stars one final opportunity to represent their programs and be recognized against the backdrop of the sport's championship weekend. While inexhaustive of eligible players as stars emerge during the season's final month, Ransom is one of many notable standouts to appear on the watch list.

www.womenscollegeallstar.com, and the final event roster will be announced the week of the event. Participants in the Women's College All-Star Game will be players that have exhausted or will forego their remaining eligibility.

Ransom is one of six players from the BIG EAST Conference to be selected.
