WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team finished in fourth place at the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Squash Championships over the weekend in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. On Saturday, the 15th-ranked Hoyas defeated No. 19 Dickinson in the opening match 8-1 but fell 9-0 to sixth-ranked Virginia later in the day before dropping an 8-1 decision to 10th-ranked Drexel in the third place match on Sunday.
Against the Red Devils, the Blue & Gray (5-8) swept flights 2-9 in the ladder for the win.

Katie Hennessy and
Sydney Bramen all won 3-0 while
Ana Margarita Quijano won 3-1 and
Sanah Syed posted a 3-2 victory.
Valentina Cuccolo also swept her opponent in a non-scoring exhibition match.
Quijano and Kuthari both battled hard against the Cavaliers, going the distance before each falling in five games. Lee and Curran also went four games against UVA in the loss.
Playing the Dragons for the second time in five matches, Schoonmaker picked up the lone point for the Hoyas with a 3-0 sweep in the fifth position. Quijano, Lee and Kuthari each went four games as well.

The Hoyas return to action against Princeton on Saturday, February 22 in New Jersey.
