Hoyas Drop Game Two of Series at No. 7/5 Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Georgetown University baseball team dropped game two of the series at No. 7/5 Florida State 11-2 on Saturday afternoon. With the setback GU slides to 3-7 on the season while the Seminoles improve to 10-0.

ON THE RECORD
"Their pitcher did an unbelievable job today going six innings and he was not giving us anything free today. He did a really good job of keeping us off balance and I thought that was the story of the game. We didn't have much working until the end there, but I am really proud of our guys fight in the ninth inning. Obviously, it was a little too late, but it was great to see Jackson Thomas get his first career home run in his home state and hopefully it can get us going into tomorrow." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
