Hoyas Drop Game Two Against UMBC in Extra Innings

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team dropped game two of the series against UMBC on Saturday afternoon, 4-3. With the loss, GU slides to 9-18 on the season while UMBC improves to 8-12.

ON THE RECORD
"I like how we battled today. I thought our guys did a good job competing. We had a great start from Andrew Williams again which was great to see. He gave us a chance there through five and I thought, overall, they were able to keep us off balance. We will regroup and come back out tomorrow for game three." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
