WASHINGTON - Georgetown University softball junior Dayanara Campos was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Monday. The awards come after hitting .400 (6-15) with a home run, two doubles, seven RBIs and three runs scored.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

• Campos started in all five contests for the Hoyas, where she went 6-for-15 with two doubles, a home run, seven RBIs and three runs scored.
• The junior had a slash line of .400/.500/.733 at the Liberty Softball Invitational this past weekend.
• In Friday's contest against Drexel, Campos went 2-for-4 with a homerun, a walk, a run scored and two RBI's.
• In the second game against Drexel, she went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, two runs scored and four RBI's.
• The sophomore is currently hitting .270 on the season with two home runs and 10 RBI's.
• This is the second time Campos has earned a spot on the BIG EAST weekly honor roll.
