WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team will head to the Princeton Intercollegiate at Springdale GC in Princeton, New Jersey hosted by Princeton. The tournament, scheduled for April 12-13, will follow a three-round format featuring teams from 14 schools. Live scoring will be available on GUHoyas.com through Scoreboard powered by Clippd.
Hoya Lineup
- Georgetown will travel with five student-athletes for this week's competition.
- In their last outing, the team placed seventh at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Virginia. GU posted rounds of 293, 292 and 286 at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club, a par-71, 6,817 yard course. The Hoyas rounded out the three-day, 54-hole tournament with a team score of 871.
- Barnes Blake will take the top spot.
- Team captain Max Hutter is set to play in the two spot.
- Carsten Judge will compete in the three spot for the Hoyas.
- Team captain Jacob Finard will be in the four spot.
- Alan Rose will compete in the five spot.
About the Tournament
- The event will feature 13 other institutions with Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Howard, Penn, Princeton, Rider, Rutgers, Saint Joseph's, Seton Hall, Temple and Yale participating.
Of Note
- Carsten Judge was named the BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week after the last outing for the Hoyas in Williamsburg, Virginia. Judge was sensational at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate for Georgetown, holding the top spot on the leaderboard for the Hoyas tying for first place, posting an 8-under score across the 54 holes.
