WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team placed sixth at the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, New Jersey. GU posted rounds of 294 and 290 at the Springdale Golf Club, a par-71, 6,458 yard course. The Hoyas rounded out the 36-hole tournament with a team score of 584.
Hoya Results
- Barnes Blake was the top performer for the Blue & Gray, finishing tied for sixth overall. The sophomore fired off rounds of 73 and 70, finishing 1-over par (143).
- Team captain Max Hutter finished tied for 19th overall. The senior shot rounds of 74 and 73 finishing 5-under par (147).
- Alan Rose also finished tied for 19th with a total score of 147 (+5). The freshman wrapped up the event with scores of 74 and 73.
- Carsten Judge placed tied for 29th for the Blue & Gray turning in cards of 75 and 74, finishing with a two-round total of 149 (+7).
- Team captain Jacob Finard placed tied for 29th. Finard finished with rounds of 73 and 76 (149).
