WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team placed fourteenth at the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Indiana. GU posted rounds of 293, 289 and 293 at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course, a par-71, 7,275 yard course. The Hoyas rounded out the three-day, 54-hole tournament with a team score of 875.
Hoya Results
- Barnes Blake was the top performer for the Blue & Gray, finishing tied for 23rd overall. The sophomore fired off rounds of 70, 71 and 72, finishing even par (213).
- Team captain Max Hutter finished tied for 63rd overall. The senior shot rounds of 74, 73 and 74 finishing 8-over par (221).
- Alan Rose also finished tied for 66th with a total score of 225 (+12). The freshman wrapped up the event with scores of 79, 70 and 73.
- Team captain Jacob Finard placed tied for 77th. Finard finished with rounds of 76, 75 and 74 (225).
- Carsten Judge placed tied for 83rd for the Blue & Gray turning in cards of 73, 77 and 77 finishing with a three-round total of 227 (+14).
