WASHINGTON – With a trio of Hoyas among the top 10, the Georgetown University women's golf team finished as runners-up with a three-day score of 35-over 899 (308-296-295) at the 2025 BIG EAST Women's Golf Championships, presented by Jeep. The Hoyas finished behind Xavier at 12-over 876 (298-294-284) in the six-team field that played the par-72, 6,155-yard course at Riverton Pointe in Hardeeville, South Carolina.

  • Right behind the duo of Gormley and Eifrig was Catherine Qiu, who finished in sole possession of seventh place at 9-over 225 (78-74-73). The freshman tallied a trio of birdies, including back-to-back birdies on 14 and 15, to go along with 11 pars over the final 18 holes. OF NOTE
  • The runner-up finish is the 10th in program history and the fifth in the last six years for the Blue & Gray.
  • For the 10th time in program history, the Hoyas placed at least three golfers among the top 10 individually. The only years more than three Hoyas have finished among the top 10 were in 2017 and 2018, both years Georgetown won the team championship.
